The Phoenix Suns completed a season sweep of the New York Knicks with a 106-99 win Saturday night. The Suns used a late third-quarter run to regain control of the game and closed things out thanks to their defensive effort.
Suns outmatch Knicks to sweep season series
Devin Booker led the way with 27 points and the Suns enjoyed contributions from across the board, as the bench outscored the Knicks’ second unit, 39-14. No member of the second unit was more impressive than Jordan Goodwin, who finished with 13 points on 5-of-6 shooting, and was a major catalyst in Phoenix’s late third quarter push.
With the win, the Suns move to 25-17 on the season and keep the pace to finish among the top half of Western Conference teams. PHNX Suns postgame dives into just how the Suns were able to dig deep and get a much-needed win.
