The Phoenix Suns could not make enough plays as they suffered a 108-105 loss to the Detroit Pistons at Little Caesars Arena Thursday.
Phoenix got out to a scorching start, leading by as many as 16 points in the first half but Detroit continued to chip away before taking control of the game in the fourth quarter.
With no dEVIN BOOKER, Suns come up short in Detroit
The Pistons got the win despite an uncharacteristic night from Cade Cunningham, who finished with 10 points on 3-of-16 shooting. The Suns, on the other hand, were without Devin Booker (left ankle) and remain without Jalen Green (hamstring).
In that duo’s absence, Grayson Allen finished with 33 points while Collin Gillespie scored 18 points and shot 4-of-6 from 3-point range. Phoenix has now dropped two straight and falls to 24-16 on the season.
The Suns now head to New York, where they will face the Knicks and Nets on Saturday and Monday, respectively.
