After an eventual draft night, the Phoenix Suns went into 2025 NBA Summer League with plenty of tantalizing youngsters to keep an eye on! So for their first game of 2025 NBA Summer League against the Washington Wizards, the PHNX Suns Podcast held a Suns Summer League watchalong to break down all those players’ performances live!

While waiting for tipoff, Gerald Bourguet and Stephen Pridgeon-Garner spent some time going through practice clips from Ryan Dunn, Oso Ighodaro and Suns Summer League coach DeMarre Carroll from earlier in the week. Then, once the game tipped off, they broke down Koby Brea’s 19-point outing in an impressive first performance, the pros and cons of Khaman Maluach’s night, how Ryan Dunn and Oso Ighodaro looked “too good to be here” (in a good way!), and Rasheer Fleming’s unfortunate knee soreness that held him out.

After the game, the duo wrapped up the good and the bad that they saw from this first Suns Summer League game, before playing some clips from PHNX Suns’ interviews with newcomers Jalen Green and Dillon Brooks from Las Vegas.
