The Phoenix Suns began their time at the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas with a memorable performance, staging a second half comeback to earn an 81-79 win over the Portland Trail Blazers to start things off.

Suns’ Khaman Maluach, Koa Peat Show out in Summer LEague Win

After trailing by 14 points at the half, it was Khaman Maluach and Koa Peat who stood out above the rest, propelling Phoenix to the two point win.

It wasn’t just the Suns most recent first-round picks, either, as Javonte Cooke scored a team-high 21 points off the bench and Rasheer Fleming found other ways to contribute on a cold shooting night, pulling down 10 boards in the game.
