Valiant efforts from Landry Shamet & DA not enough to lead Suns past Jokic’s triple-double & Nuggets

The Phoenix Suns and Deandre Ayton fall to the Denver Nuggets and Nikola Jokic 125-128 in overtime.

The Suns were without Devin Booker for majority of this game, who left the court after just a few minutes into the first quarter due to the groin injury he’s been dealing with and did not return. Despite the Suns getting down early to the Nuggets in this one, they responded with a 19-2 run to get themselves back into it. The Suns were lead but solid bench play and Landry Shamet’s offensive production. But in extra minutes the Suns were not able to get it done. Coal for everyone on Christmas.
