In the span of one week, the Arizona Cardinals went from a high-probability playoff team to one with middling odds. A 16-6 loss at Seattle dropped their playoff chances to 51 percent heading into a difficult matchup with the Vikings in Minneapolis. 
If they win, that probability climbs to 66 percent. If they lose, it falls to 40 percent.

The Vikings have been one of the NFL's biggest surprises this season. Most preseason projections tabbed them for last place in the NFC North, and when quarterback JJ McCarthy, the 10th overall pick in the 2024 draft, sustained a season-ending knee injury during the preseason opener against the Raiders, the outlook was even gloomier.
