The Coyotes came to Phoenix from Winnipeg in the 90’s and ignited a new fanbase in the desert. After years of sharing a home with the Suns, the team needed to build their own arena in Valley, but due to a costly mistake by the original owner, the Coyotes ended up in the hands of a man who would forever change the course of the NHL franchise.
