Nothing went right for Arizona, except Tyler Loop’s extra-point attempt.
It was that bad for the Wildcats on Saturday.
The Wildcats suffered a 56-12 defeat to a UCF team that had been on a five-game losing streak and was starting its fourth different quarterback of the season. Not only did Dylan Rizk throw for nearly 300 yards, but the Knights ran for 308 in startling contrast to Arizona’s grand total of 5 yards on the ground.
It began to feel like it was over when the Wildcats allowed a touchdown on the Knights’ first drive. The game truly might have been out of reach when Quali Conley fumbled on the ensuing possession, setting up UCF for a second TD. And then it was really o-v-e-r when UCF...
